October’s Featured Performer: Ken Freehill, Story-Teller: “On The Ballot, No Politics”

Last year, Ken Freehill delighted NDWC with a portrayal of George Burns and Gracie Allen as he told the story of their love and comedic success. This year Ken is sure to entertain us with a look at some of our past presidents.

Ken is an accomplished actor of stage, screen, and television, as well as a playwright, teacher, producer, and director. His 45-minute first-person orginial reviews have been performed in Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Frankfurt, Germany.

Currently an Entertainment Consultant for the US Army, Ken writes original scripts for soldiers and their families to perform. These military projects have taken Ken all over the US and to twelve foreign countries, for which he has been honored with a seal dedicated in his name at the National Theatre in Washington D.C.

Ken’s varied theatrical career includes operating his own theatre in the Chicago suburbs, serving as an adjunet professor at UNT, and former Executive Director of the Dallas Office of Screen Actors Guild.
