Rose-Mary Rumbley, Dallas icon and Texas legend, holds a PhD in Communications from the University of North Texas. She served as a professor of Speech and Theater at Dallas Baptist University for twelve years and as a single adult minister at first Baptist Church Dallas for seven years.
She has appeared on stage at the Dallas Summer musical’s and at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth. She and her daughter, Jill, have performed for many years in the Senior Follies, a musical theater review with singers and dancers 55 and older.
Today she is on the speaking circuit and enjoys researching each and every topic. She also leads local tours pointing out “places of interest” and relaying their history through fascinating stories from a tour bus.
