I have been reading and telling stories since I was a little girl (now don’t take that the wrong way). Because I am the daughter of a school teacher maybe I inherited the love of reading from Mom???? Because I am also the daughter of a soldier I have traveled a great deal… I have been to Europe, Mexico, Canada, and Japan. I have been in 42 of the 50 states, and lived in 9 of them, but TEXAS was always home!
I have a BS from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Education from Texas Women’s University. I have been a science and physical education teacher and a girls coach in basketball, volleyball and track. But as a librarian for 30 years, I was lucky enough to have a job that I thought was heavenly…. I was surrounded by books.
