Dave Lieber is a columnist that helps people. His investigative column, The Watchdog, appears Fridays and Sundays in Texas’ best newspaper, The Dallas Morning News.
Before that, he wrote a Fort Worth Star-Telegram metro column for 20 years. He trained at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where he was a staff writer for a decade.
He is the founder and secretary of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists Education Foundation, which awards scholarships to top college columnists.
He is the author of nine books.
In addition to his popular The Dog of My Nightmares: Stories by Texas Columnist Dave Lieber, he has written AMON! The Ultimate Texan (play and book) and his latest, the first biography of Ross Perot in 25 years. Released in September 2021, it’s called SEARCHING FOR PEROT – My Journey to Discover Texas’ Top Family.
